STILL TOO NICE FOR OUR OWN GOOD?

Women finding their voices

Many women, brought up to be nice, take on too much, bottle up their feelings, lose the ability to tell others what they need, and fear anger because they do not have the skills to express it effectively. This workshop will help you develop the skills you need to avoid unnecessary resentment and stress and shows you how to combine kindness with strength.

FORGIVING MINDFULLY

Being hurt or wounded in some way is a common phenomenon in our daily living. Some of these are quickly forgotten while others are carried for longer periods, even an entire life time. Wounds of the past and the resentments we carry affect our peace, happiness and well being. Forgiveness transforms us as well as our relationships. This workshop offers a new awareness based understanding of forgiveness that in fact works.

GRIEVING MINDFULLY

The death of someone close to us, the ending of a cherished relationship and losses of all kinds affect us in different ways. All endings, losses as well as major changes can lead to pain and sorrow. We may become depressed, bitter, angry and some way frozen in life and relationships. But we do not need to remain depressed or soul sick. We can let go of your grief and experience freedom. This workshop in a small group setting offers you such an opportunity.

TRANSFORMING STRESS

Whether we work at home or outside, and regardless of our job or position, all of us experience levels of stress that are at times too difficult for us to cope. High levels of stress can lead to various physical symptoms, insomnia, emotional disturbances, relationship problems, and spiritual emptiness. The focus of this workshop is not on coping skills for managing stress but on our own transformation through mindfulness and understanding.
